JumpStart Your Story...

Yes, teachers are always asking you to write a story. Sometimes you can't think of a beginning. Here are some creative ideas to jumpstart a story.

2. What is the greatest lesson you ever learned?

4. What are the qualities a best friend must possess?

6. What makes you so special?

7. Describe your room from your mom's point of view.

8. Describe your favorite relative.

9. Describe your favorite place to be alone.

10. Describe a perfect day.

11. Write about an unusual dream.

12. How can a person tell when you're upset?

13. List your pet peeves? (At least 4. Explain why these four things bug you)

14. What can someone learn from you?

15. What qualities do you hate in some teachers?

16. Who has it easier -- girls or guys?

17. When have you been wrongly accused.

18. Describe a time when you were embarrassed.
